3.Light (100 Theme challenge)

A lifeless , endless , winter expanse
Nature's version of snow and night's romance
Nothing but ice , as far as the eye can see
This place is as dark as can be ......

For the last six months, light has been absent
But also ,the numbered nights have been spent
By tomorrow ,the ruthless darkness will end
And soon enough the generous sun will ascend

Till tonight, relentless black ruled the domain
No trace of water ,no creeks , seas or rain
The land is ravaged by brutal ,dry winds
But with tonight , the dark reign rescinds

Because come tomorrow , the sun would have risen
And the frozen realm will escape the dark prison
Because come tomorrow , Its the arrival of light
And the ocean of ice , will be free from the night
